Our Church

Our Partnership with All Saints Church, Childwall
As a Church of England school, our Christian vision and values are lived out through a close, active and meaningful partnership with All Saints Church, Childwall. This strong link is central to the spiritual life of our school and supports our commitment to nurturing the whole child – spiritually, morally, socially and emotionally.
Collective Worship in School
Each Wednesday, members of the clergy from All Saints Church visit our school to lead collective worship. These acts of worship are inclusive, engaging and rooted in Christian teaching, helping pupils to explore faith, reflect on their own values and consider how they can live out our school’s Christian ethos in their daily lives. The regular presence of clergy helps pupils to see faith as something lived and shared within a wider Christian community.
Worship in Church
At key points throughout the church year, our pupils have the opportunity to worship at All Saints Church, Childwall, strengthening their understanding of the church as a special place and deepening their sense of belonging to the parish community.
Pupils also take an active role in leading worship. For example, Year 3 lead the Harvest Festival service in the autumn term, sharing prayers, readings and reflections with the congregation. These experiences are highly valued and help pupils to develop confidence, responsibility and a deeper appreciation of Christian worship.
Learning Together
Our partnership with All Saints Church enriches learning across the curriculum, particularly in Religious Education. Clergy support classroom learning, special services and key Christian festivals, helping pupils to make meaningful links between biblical teaching, worship and everyday life.
