PE Days – Monday and Friday

Homework – Please read with your child at least 5x per week and sign their reading record. Feel free to add a positive comment or a note about something they found tricky, if you wish. Please ensure reading books are brought to school every day as the class teacher or learning assistant will hear your child read throughout the week.

Children will have a spelling list on Spelling Shed (login has been sent home) These words will be ‘tested’ every Friday. We won’t share children’s scores with you but we will inform you if we have any concerns.      

 Children also have a TT Rockstars account. Battles will be set but children can also access the ‘Jamming’ feature to practise specific times tables. We will begin with the 10 times table in order (1×10=10, 2×10=20 etc)

Projects – Children should aim to complete one project every 2 weeks and can select any they like from the Overview.
