Safeguarding for Children

Keeping You Safe

At Childwall CE Primary School, keeping you safe is the most important thing we do.

All adults in school are here to help you. If something makes you feel worried, upset, scared or unsafe, please tell an adult you trust. This could be your teacher, a teaching assistant or someone from our Safeguarding Team.

You can talk to us about anything that is worrying you, including something that has happened:

  • at school;

  • at home;

  • in the community; or

  • online.

You will be listened to and taken seriously. You will not be in trouble for telling us. If the first adult cannot help, keep telling until someone does.

Remember: you have the right to feel safe. Worries should not be kept secret.

You can also get help from:

  • Childline – free help and advice for children. You can also call 0800 1111.

  • CEOP Safety Centre – help if someone has made you feel unsafe online.

If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 999 or ask an adult to call.
